The imagery of a bridge is beautiful. A bridge allows us to make progress toward our goal. Without a bridge, it is often difficult, or at times impossible, to reach the desired destination. Yet, the bridge is not the final destination, rather a vehicle that makes our journey between where we are now, and where we want to be possible.
